Cut from the same cloth

Everything that is seen and unseen is composed of the essence of whatever it is that created us. You are a piece of that divine creation. Imagine an immense bolt of fabric spread across the universe. Now begin to see shapes being cut out much like a seamstress would do in designing a dress. The pieces are sewn together to make an infinite number of garments. Each garment may have a different shape or size, but it is still the same fabric. You share that divine substance with everything and everyone on this planet. We are all connected to each other through this sharing. When you recognize and accept this, you begin to treat everything and everyone around you differently. Think of that our planet would be like if each of us approached living on this Earth with love and respect for all that inhabit it. That includes both what we consider living and nonliving. We acknowledge how precious each animal, plant, and mineral is in what they contribute to the planet by their presence. Whatever aspects are present in what created us are a part of who we are. We are beauty, strength, knowledge, and peace. But most of all we are pure love. Think about this as you walk through your day. See these qualities all around you and know that you, too, are emanating these qualities to all you meet. What qualities will you demonstrate that come from the same cloth from which you were cut?
