It's a small world

On a recent trip to South Africa I spent several days on a photo safari. The reserve accommodated only 18 guests. During my brief stay I met a woman who grew up no more than 10 miles from me, a gentleman who graduated from the same university as I did, and two women who had lived within 20 miles of where I currently live. I wondered what the odds were for having that many connections and then I remembered that this is not unusual for the principles of the Law of Attraction to work. In addition to sharing experiences while on the safari, we talked about what we had in common from our past. Our discussions added to the enjoyment of the overall experience. I think that we are never really far away from the familiar even when we travel to the other side of the planet. Where have you visited and met an unexpected neighbor?
