Missing you
There are people in our lives with whom we form a special bond. Their presence in our life brings joy and we look forward to being with them. Yet for some reason that time together comes to an end. It may involve a separation through distance, a change in life direction, or death. Whatever the reason, there is a void that we feel. Those moments of joy are replaced by memories of what was. We may physically say our good byes, but life is never quite the same as when they were there with you. I think of bygone relationships and the experiences we shared that included both the tears and laughter of the moment. We felt supported and loved and that has changed now that the person is no longer there. It is at this time that we allow ourselves to miss that person with all our heart. I think about my parents and grandparents and wish that they were still here. There are so many unanswered questions that I wish I had asked. Take the opportunity to ask those questions of those who are still with you. What would they be?
