Who's in charge?

There are people who believe that they are the ultimate masters of their fates. They believe that they are completely on their own when it comes to what happens in their day. Their experiences match their beliefs and they are not disappointed in how this shows up for them. It is possible to live a happy life based on this belief. Others believe that they are in a partnership with something greater than themselves as they travel through life. There is a presence that is constant and ever available. This presence does not dictate what life is to be, but provides guidance for how to live a full and happy life. It is a source of unconditional love and responds to what we ask of it. You may choose to call it what you will - the Universe, God, Spirit, Allah. The name is not as important as the relationship you have with this presence. In its unconditional love it allows for freedom of choice and works with whatever that choice is. This is what permits you to express your uniqueness. As you walk through your day, you have an intuitive sense of what it is you need to do to maintain alignment with your purpose. When you have doubts or questions, you can always tap into this presence in your life for direction knowing that you have the final say. How do you approach your life knowing that you have options?
