A job well done
On one particular morning I made a call to a major company requesting information on a product. At the beginning of the call was a prompt for completing a customer service satisfaction survey when the call ended. Given that I had so much on my plate this morning, I quickly answered with a "no". I was then connected to one of the kindest, most patient customer service reps I have talked to in a long time. Since I am high tech challenged, the customer service rep explained each feature of the product in layman's terms and how it would or would not work for me. At the end of her conversation I told her I wished I had provided a different response to the survey option. She told me she could transfer me to her supervisor's voicemail and I could leave a message about her level of service. I couldn't say enough good things about her and felt so positive after I hung up. All it took was a few minutes of my time and the effects will probably be with me for the rest of the day. Not a bad return on my time investment. I hope that her supervisor shares what I said about her. Is there someone who has gone out of their way today to provide excellent service and what can you do to acknowledge their performance?
