Focusing on what you desire in life
What is it that you truly desire in life? Is it a life mate, a terrific job, a better relationship with your children, financial freedom? Think about your life with any or all of these present. If our thoughts serve to create our reality, what thoughts would bring that about? If we focus on the characteristics of an unwanted situation, that is what we will attract. If I say to myself, "I wish my kids would stop talking back to me" or "I hate getting up for work in the morning," then you will attract more talking back and more reasons for hating work. If you say to yourself, "I have a relationship with my children that is based on mutual respect" or "I awaken each morning to a work day that provides me with a deep sense of self-satisfaction," then this is what you will attract. Identify the feelings or emotions that accompany each of these situations to further strengthen them. What are you saying to yourself today that attracts what you truly desire?
