Following your passion

I once moderated a panel of recruiters who shared their knowledge and experience related to the job search. What they shared could be equally applied to any area of our lives. They talked about the importance of knowing what your passion in life is and pursuing that to be successful. The success could be marked by financial gain or a deep sense of satisfaction or both. Those who settle for less in life because they deny or can't identify their passion may have lives that reflect that approach. Want to know what a person is passionate about? Just watch their face light up when they talk about that subject. Their entire body becomes energized. I watched that occur for each of the recruiters on the panel. Even having come to the program from long commutes, a heavy work day, and a last minute offer to present, each of them openly demonstrated their passion for what they do. The other commonality among them was that they were inviting others to take advantage of their passion for what they do. People who are passionate find it to be infectious. Their mantra was, "Use me." My response was, "Absolutely." The morning after the program I connected with each of them through a social media network. I want to be connected with people like these recruiters. As I work with clients I find it critical to identify and pursue their passion. This is when our vibrational levels are at their highest and we attract what we desire in life. What is your passion and how are you following it today?
