It's always sunny above the clouds

When I was visiting in Germany there were days when the skies were gray and it rained steadily. My friends commented on the status of the weather and how it affected our activities for that day. While I suppose it would have been nice to have had ten days of sunshine while we were there, I realized that this was not likely to be the case. I accepted each day as it came and pointed out to my friends that, even though we were experiencing rain during our travels, the sun was shining brightly above the clouds. It gave me a new perspective on the conditions that day and I would simply imagine a warm sun above us.
