When I was in elementary school my teachers would always instruct us that, if there were two unequal size pieces of cake offered to us, we should always take the smaller piece. Even as a child I failed to see the logic in that. What if it was chocolate cake and the other person didn't like chocolate? What if we both came from the same conditioning? We would be at a stand off. The true message behind this was to always accept less. There was the element of self-sacrifice in that the "better" person would choose the smaller piece. The Universe does not play this way. When you are open to receiving the abundance of the Universe, it is not at the expense of the person next to you. There is more than enough for everyone on the planet. It is when we adopt a scarcity mentality that our resources appear to have dwindled. It is at this time that we need to recognize what our true source is. Then watch abundance flow. What are you looking at through a scarcity lens today and what would abundance look like when it appears?
