No experience required

We enter this world with what is encoded into our DNA and proceed through life developing the gifts that were bequeathed to us at that time. Life is a learn as you go process. Hopefully its foundation is set with love and encouragement. But that is no guarantee that the road ahead will be without its bumps. Every second of the day we are learning from what we experience. We learn what works and what doesn't work to meet our needs to survive and flourish. I suppose life would seem easier if we arrived with a roadmap or a book of directions to follow to ensure that we would always know the way, but that would reduce the opportunities that create the adventure of life. As we mature in years, we certainly can call upon similar experiences that can serve to guide us in our next right actions, but we all know that no two experiences are ever quite the same. What helps is knowing that you have or will be given what you need to move forward in life and that it will add to what we call "experience." What has your experience taught you so far?
