Pursuing your passion

I recall attending a seminar in which the presenter asked those attending if they would be in their current employment position if money was not an issue. Less than 25% of those in the audience raised their hands. I was definitely in the minority when mine shot up. I wondered how many people awaken each morning to a life they wished was different. When we approach life this way it is time to seriously evaluate our part in creating that reality. It is time to take inventory of our gifts and decide how we would like to use them to create a fulfilling life for ourselves and leave the world a better place upon our departure. What is it that you would love to be doing with your life if money was no object? What did you enjoy doing as a child that would result in you losing track of time? What did you do for fun as a child? These questions can help us identify our passion. Once you have identified our passion, you need to decide if we are worth pursuing it. Once you make that commitment to pursue it, follow it with all your heart. It can lead to unbelievable results for you. Think of famous people you know who have done this. Then ask yourself what their thoughts and feelings were in charting their course toward living this life. What would it take for you to adopt this approach to realizing your dream?
