The best is yet to come
I recall being in my late 20s and wondering if life would ever get better. That doesn't say much for a young person with their whole life ahead of them. I think I had to reach a really dark time in my life in order to open myself to an alternative way of looking at and being in the world. Once I passed through this part of my life (although it felt more like sheer survival), new opportunities began to come my way. I received a job offer to relocate to another part of the country where I was introduced to 12-step programs. I was now surrounding myself with people who could teach me to live life differently. It wasn't always easy for me to do. Then after 22 years I moved to California where I first heard about the Law of Attraction although we have all been practicing it throughout our lives in one form or another. I left a career of 34 years and began my own business which was something I never would have imagined. I am more excited about work in my 70s than I was in my 20s. I have traveled all over the world and met people from all walks of life. Technology allows me to stay in touch with them on a regular basis. When you think that it will never get better, remember that that is a self-fulfilling belief. You are always free to change your thinking. What are the first steps you can make today toward achieving the life you want?
