The wink of an eye

Our lives are but a wink of an eye compared to the length of time the universe has existed. Yet our presence carries no less significance than the event that created our galaxy and the planet on which we live. You are here living this life in a way that impacts everything around you. You make a difference every time you awaken. During this day you have the choice to add or subtract to the quality of life of those around you. Choose wisely and with compassion. The very same is being done for you. When you come to the end of your day, reflect upon what you have done and said. How do people around you feel in your presence? Are you a person that they are drawn to through your kindness and well-meaning words or are you someone that people dread to see coming their way? Attitudes and behaviors can be changed.
