When I was ten

Think back to when you were ten years old. What did you believe the future would hold for you as you passed through each of the decades that followed? How far would you go in your education? Would you live in the same town where you grew up or would you move thousands of miles away from there? What would your marital status be? What type of work would you be doing and would it remain the same throughout your career? How would the way you looked at the world change over time or would it? When I was ten I thought that people my age today would be sitting in rocking chairs reminiscing about the good old days. I never saw myself traveling the world, starting my own business, writing a book, and anxiously awaiting each new day while thoroughly enjoying the one I am in. When I am working I am immersed in my work and when I am playing I am in the moment with what that has to offer. I certainly never imagined myself posting a daily blog because at ten I had no idea what a computer was much less a blog. How does the world you envisioned at the age of ten compare to the world you live in today?
