An attitude of gratitude

Date:
November 13, 2022

On the days when things don't seem to be going the way I'd like them to go, there may be a tendency to focus on what's wrong with life. This approach rarely turns the situation around and I end up just feeling worse. This is the time to look at what I am grateful for in my life. When I do this I notice that my mood begins to change. Somehow the future doesn't seem so bleak and I begin to see that that gray cloud does have a silver lining. I increase my chances of living a grateful life when I journal each night before retiring. No matter what is happening, I write about the good that I experienced during the day and turn the rest over to the Universe for guidance. I feel so much better after this simple action knowing that this too shall pass. What do you have to be grateful for today?
