Awakening thoughts
What are your first thoughts when you awaken in the morning? Do you dread the dawning of another day? Or do you welcome new opportunities and experiences into your life? Our initial thoughts set the tone for our day and act as a magnet for what shows up as a result of them. I can recall when my first thoughts of the day reflected my unhappiness with my life and not much hope of things changing. You can imagine what the rest of my day looked like until I decided to change my thinking. It took awhile for me to turn my thinking around, but the benefits of doing that were definitely worth it. This is a commitment I make to myself to live a life in which I co-create my reality. At this point in my life opportunities have accelerated. My morning thoughts are about an eagerness and excitement to walk through my day very different from my early years. What I used to consider to be disastrous situations are now ways to exercise what I have learned about the process of the Law of Attraction. I ask myself what the positive is that I can take from each event in my life and then watch life begin to transform itself in a more positive direction based on what I know at the time. Today is an opportunity to begin a new habit of committing to positive thoughts upon awakening. What will those thoughts be for you tomorrow morning?
