Born to love

If we believe that we are a manifestation of the essence of the Universe, then a significant part of that is our capacity to love. When we are in an environment that supports and encourages that love, we thrive. Just look into the face of any infant being cradled by its mother. What we see is pure and innocent love. It is only when we have life experiences that affect our capacity to love that we begin to doubt its presence. Yet it is ever present, just as the Universe is constant in its love for us. How do you feel when you are in a loving mode be it with a romantic partner, a child, a parent, or a friend? It is a feeling that seems to transcend whatever we might be going through at the moment. It is our nature to give and receive love. When we do this we notice all that is beautiful in life. How is love showing up in your life today?
