It's not time yet
At the time of this posting I was supposed to be on a cruise through southeast Asia. Due to slipping on the ice while walking and sustaining a concussion that resulted in a brain bleed this month, my cruise plans had to be cancelled. What I had to accept was that this much anticipated trip was not meant to be. My timeline did not coincide with that of the Universe. I have learned that there is always a reason behind this type of occurrence. My plan to relocate from the Bay area to Bend, Oregon where I live now was much longer that I had anticipated. What I realized later was that all the conditions had to align for the right and perfect home to become available. When I originally planned to move here, the home was not even on the market. What events like these remind me of is that both trust and patience are required. I have even encountered situations that resulted in me having to forego my plans completely and be open to a new direction. I had to tell myself that it was not time yet and it may never be. I always add, “This or something better.” And the “something better” is always just that. What plans have you made and realized that it’s not time yet?
