Knowing what you DON'T want
We sometimes have difficulty stating what we truly desire in life. When this situation occurs for you, ask yourself, "What don't I want?" If you are looking for a new job or career and aren't sure what that might look like, think back to what you were doing before or are currently doing and identify those elements that you didn't care for. You may not have liked the long hours you worked, or your workspace, or the management style. Once you have listed what these characteristics are, revisit each of them and ask yourself what you would have preferred in its place. If it's the work hours, you may identify a reasonable work day that consists of eight hours with no overtime. You may apply this approach to any situation in your life - a relationship, your finances, your leisure time. You will soon have a more positive image of what you wish to attract and can then take the next steps to have it manifest. What is it that you no longer wish to have in your life that can guide you in a positive direction?
