Lessons from white water rafting

Date:

When I was white water rafting in Bend, Oregon, our guide gave us instructions on what to do if we fell out of the raft. He told us to stretch our legs out in front of us and go with the flow until we were pulled out of the water. The more we struggled to try to swim against the rapids, the more challenging the rescue. The same holds true for when I need to solve a problem that is not immediately apparent. If I relax and give myself permission to go with the flow of not knowing the answer, solutions will begin to surface. Forcing solutions, like trying to swim against the current, will get us nowhere. Often our greatest revelations and insights come from our willingness to be unknowing. Then we tap into the collective consciousness of the Universal Mind and are receptive to its messages. What is happening in your life today that could benefit from releasing the solution to the Universe?
