Living in tomorrowland

Date:
November 20, 2022

How many times do we begin our thought processes with "I'll get around to that tomorrow" or "Maybe tomorrow will turn out to be better than today." The present moment is all we really have. How are we using it? Is the present so bad that we do all that is possible to avoid its existence? Perhaps we should focus on the current moment and ask ourselves what we can do to make the most of it. It might mean performing a task that we don't particularly care for such as paying a bill or cleaning the garage. The good news is that, when tomorrow arrives, that task will already be completed and we can attend to other more appealing tasks. What is happening in your life today where living in tomorrow seems to be the more attractive option and what are you doing to change that?
