Need to get away? Why not take a mind trip? Find a quiet place with no distractions. Clear your mind of its chatter. Then focus on a place where you would like to be. It could be the beach, the mountains, a forest, a garden, wherever you feel peaceful and at ease. Be the artist of your getaway. Paint in the details of your surroundings. Tap into all your senses. Don't be afraid to be unconventional. You can color the water purple, the trees blue, or the sky green. Imagine the aromas and scents that fill your dream destination. Touch the objects around you. Feel the various textures and temperatures of the surfaces. What sounds do you hear? Do you hear the ocean crashing against the rocks, birds singing, or the wind whistling through the trees?
