Planning for the future
Like so many people, I keep a calendar of appointments. They range from medical to business to social engagements. I am not sure I could juggle all that I include in my busy schedule without it. I also find I need to allow for flexibility when those plans change. Doctors and clients may cancel which means rethinking my day. It is helpful to keep a list of activities to fill in those unexpected free times. That includes reading an article I have been meaning to get to, taking a walk, or spending time designing a new workshop. A change in plans can take me in an entirely new direction that would never have occurred if I had stayed with my original schedule. It certainly instills a more positive attitude within me which doesn't hurt. What unexpected changes have occurred in your life that have resulted in new opportunities?
