The challenge of trusting
For many of us, the idea of trusting in something or someone outside ourselves can be a challenge. We know that basic trust is established within the first year of our life. We must trust that our basic physical and emotional needs will be cared for. When our perception is that this has not occurred, it creates a belief that something is amiss. Perhaps we are not good enough, not worthy enough, or imperfect. We can spend the rest o four live trying to compensate for those mistaken beliefs. Once we have identified the source of the mistrust, it is important to trust the process of healing that involves reprogramming our brains with healthier information. It is possible if you believe it to be so. It generally does not happen overnight but does so through conscious application including NLP, the Emotional Freedom Technique (also referred to as tapping), and affirmations.
