The school of life

What better way to learn about life than to show up each day open to the lessons it presents. No matter what you choose to do, it contributes to those lessons. You may decide to spend your day lying in bed watching television. If you learn that there is little happening in your life to motivate you, it may be a message that it is time to consider how you want to use your days. For some, those days may stretch into years and, for them, school may be more of an endless vacation from learning. For many it may be that the school of life is an opportunity to gather knowledge and skills that make a difference in their lives as well as the lives of others. This may manifest as a career in medicine, teaching, or the arts. For still others, it may be learning to survive on a daily basis. This may include a life on the streets or a destitute area with an uncertain future. The school of life provides for whatever we are here to learn.
