When the time is right

When there is something we truly desire in life, it is difficult to be patient with its arrival. It might be a new job, a relationship, a new home, or a dream vacation. We may wonder if it will ever show up. When I was single for eighteen years between relationships, there were days when I thought I was destined to be in that state for the rest of my life. What helped was to say aloud that I guessed that the Universe wasn't done with me as a single person yet. It became easier to accept what was and not worry about what the future would bring. I used that time to better understand what I was looking for in a relationship. Once I was clear on what that was, the Universe delivered. Now I state aloud that the Universe isn't done with me as a married person. There are lessons to be learned from wherever we are in having our desires fulfilled. The Universe knows when the time is right. In some cases all the circumstances have to fall into place. Someone gets a promotion leaving a vacancy. You have an opportunity to relocate with the resources to purchase a new home. You win a trip to the destination of your dreams. Learn to let go of the how and trust that it will happen when the time is right. What is it that you truly desire that you are waiting for and how are you using the waiting time to be clear in what you want?
