a chronological milestone
Today is a celebration of completing 75 years in this lifetime. As I look back over those years, I see so many positives for which I am extremely grateful. I am continuing to grow into the person I was meant to be. All I had to do was to be open to possibilities. The result has been that I have traveled the world and made new friends wherever I went. I live in a spacious home that allows me to entertain large numbers of neighbors and friends. Little did I imagine that my beginnings in Pennsylvania would take me across two other western states and finally to Oregon. I have published three books and am in the midst of co-authoring my fourth book. None of these accomplishments seemed possible in those early years of my life. As I approach the next quarter in my life I do so with excitement and anticipation. I realize that this is not about growing old; it is about simply growing. I continue to say “yes” to new opportunities as a way to expand myself. My goal is to leave this life with no regrets over what I wish I had done. It is about living life fully regardless of what is happening around me. Age is just a number. It is what we do at any age that matters. Wouldn’t it be great if I was posting my daily blogs at the end of the fourth quarter of my life? You never know. What are you doing to live the life you were meant to live as you add years to your life?
