Changing times
As time passes we find that our relationships may evolve. What originally formed the foundation of a friendship can change. Common interests and experiences are no longer shared, and we find it more challenging to find ways to interact. Conversations can feel forced and awkward. These are the times to evaluate our relationships and whether or not it is time to let go of them. Perhaps one or both parties have moved to a different place and need to pursue new relationships that reflect that shift. It isn't about one person needing to be right and the other wrong. We can release with love. I have had a number of such relationships in my life. I thought they would last forever, but they didn't. At the time the relationship ended, I grieved the loss. I wished the other person the best allowing both of us to move on to new relationships that better match where we are. I see this as part of the ebb and flow of life. How has the changing of time affected your long term relationships?
